How do we live in light of prophetic warnings?

Question: If it’s indeed true that these are the last days (red heifers in Israel, April 8th eclipse, a comet seen during the eclipse, and the signs), what would a sane man do? Would he just simply stay the course of faith and observe? It’s all a little frightening to me.

Response: I think Scripture is pretty clear that it has been “the Last Days” since Christ was crucified (Acts 2:16-21). I wrote a book on the Revelation and we preached through it again a couple of years ago–all those messages are on the website [https://relentless-love-org.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/29230755/Revelation-Series-Collected-Transcripts-v03.pdf]. For what it’s worth, time could come to an end today–actually Scripture says that it does. Christ was crucified at the “end of the ages.” (Hebrews 9:26, 1 Cor. 10:11)

Don’t let all the silly talk about red heifers, comets, and eclipses trouble you. No one but the Father knows the day or the time. AND IT DOESN’T MATTER, if you belong to Jesus–and you do. What a great thing if this age and this world came to an end today. We know the End and he knows us… and nothing could be better than that. When you worry about these things, just pray Revelation 22:17-20 “Come… Lord Jesus.” If the last trumpet sounds, nothing could be better!

51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. 53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. 54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

“Death is swallowed up in victory.”
55  “O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”

56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
