Reflective Questions for Personal Devotion and Communal Fellowship –

Sermon – What is It?…(grumble, grumble) – John 6:25-31

When do you know that you are truly living? What feelings do you regularly feel intensely?

What does it mean for you to live fully in the moment? What does it feel like when you are not living fully in the moment?

What sustains you? Where do you get it? How does it feel to consume it?

What might manna taste like? What does the work of Jesus taste like? What does sin being taken away taste like?

How does life feel like when you treat it as a ‘what’? In what ways do you commodify life, experience, relationship, or faith?

Can life feel different when it is treated otherwise (as a ‘who’)?

What is it like for you when you spend time in the inner sanctuary, in the temple of the soul? How do you know you are there?

Do you have times, places, memories, or feelings where you believe Jesus is not present?

What might it feel like to have Him present in those things?

What feelings and thoughts could you let Jesus into that you have been storing up in yourself, or giving hurtfully to others?
