Reflective Questions for Personal Devotion and Communal Fellowship –

Sermon – When and Where Easter Happens – John 4:1-42

What does Jesus know about you that you keep hidden from the world / yourself? What does he say about those parts of you?

When do you feel thirsty? What causes greater thirst? What kind of things or experiences help quench that thirst?

How have you encountered the story of Jesus and the woman at the well? Do you have your own “woman at the well” story?

What does love taste/feel/sound/look like for you? How has the experience of love changed for you over the course of your life?

If you have met Jesus before, how has this encounter/experience affected your perspective on love?

When you look in your own can of dust and ashes, what is in it? What kind of lilies could grow in it?

Can you recall a time when love shaped you— a time when you joined in the resurrection?

Do you believe that you are loveable? How do you know something is loveable?

The joy of Easter can sometimes be localized to this day. How can you intentionally remind yourself of it from this day onwards?
