Summary

Jesus had a healing ministry. He healed a leper—which would be like healing the worst of social outcasts. He healed a Centurion’s slave—which would be like healing your worst enemy. He healed Peter’s mother-in-law—which would be like healing your mother-in-law. He healed them by bearing their illnesses and diseases. I’m not so sure we want a healing ministry like that of Jesus. Maybe that’s what most needs to be healed. For until we want it, we are like “Sons of the Kingdom” consigned to outer darkness.
