Summary

A man asked Jesus to divide the inheritance between him and his brother. He didn’t realize that his brother was his inheritance–and Jesus was in his brother. When we ask the Father to divide the inheritance, we crucify the Christ, divide His body and shed His blood. Jesus warned about greed and told a story about a rich man that built barns for his “fruit.” God called the rich man a fool. The rich man thought “the goods” were his and the barns were his, and he didn’t understand what treasure is for. Hanging on to money makes you stupid, so give it away.
