Summary
For most people, words don’t carry much weight. We say just words. And we give up on speaking the Word. In our world, the Word has died. Rabbi Saul believed the Word and all words were dead until the Word ambushed him on the road to Damascus. The Word is a rider on a white horse that conquers the powers and the kings of the earth. Whenever the Word is spoken in Spirit and Truth, Christ returns. When we are conquered by the Word, our words are no longer dead but alive. Take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
(#40 in our series from Paul’s letter to the Ephesians and #9 on warfare.)
