Summary

To a group of peasants on a hillside—none of whom understood “The Plan of Salvation,” or had said “The Sinners Prayer,” or even confessed “Jesus is Lord”—Jesus says, “You are the Light of the World. My Father is your Father.” The only thing we know about these people is that they like Jesus, just enough to climb a hill, sit down, and listen. They like the “Light of the World.” That Light is reflected in their eyes. That Light judges people, redeems people and makes all things new. They have liked “His Appearing” …while it seems that many who call themselves “Christian,” have not. If you like Him, let your light so shine.
