Summary

“Dream, dream, dream… only trouble is, gee-whiz, I’m dreaming my life away.” “When dreams increase and words grow many, there is vanity…” wrote Solomon. With my dream of a bride, I strangle my real bride—God’s dream for me. With my dream of a church, I accuse God’s Church—God’s dream for me. With my dream of a life, I refuse to live my Life—God’s dream for me. With my dream Jesus, I crucify the real Jesus and everything dies… My dreams are the dreams of a dream—the “vanity of vanities”—for I am not the Dreamer but the dream. Praise God that all our ugly dreams exist inside of God’s beautiful dream. “He has made all things beautiful in their time,” with His Word. You are God’s dream. And when you go to the House of the Lord and hear His Word, He dreams His dreams through you.
