Summary
A sheep, coin, or boy, that is found, is like a sinner that “repents,” according to Jesus. The Greek word translated “repentance,” means “changed mind” or “new mind.” I can’t think my way to a new mind. With a kiss, when the prodigal son would seem to be least deserving, the Father blows the mind of His prodigal son and gives him a new one. The Father then goes to the outer darkness and speaks a Word that will blow the mind of this boy’s older brother. Jesus is the “Logos,” the Word, the Logic of God the Father in flesh and spoken into our darkness when and where we least deserve it. Jesus is, and always has been, the Logic of God. Let Him blow your mind and give you His. Repent.
